Hello and Welcome to Whole Foods Market, Darien Connecticut! My name is Megan Neisser and I am excited and honored to be your Store Team Leader.

We are thrilled to finally be a part of your community! This store has been in the works for so long and we appreciate your support and enthusiasm throughout the process!  Now that we are here, we are dedicated to satisfying and delighting you, our customers. We are committed to offering you the best customer service possible daily. We have a team of experts for each department who are waiting to help you. Please notice that there are no numbers on any of our aisles — that’s because our friendly, knowledgeable staff will always walk you to the product you are looking for.

We are looking forward to helping you make your daily lives better, easier and healthier – in an all natural way! We look forward to helping with your special occasions! Flowers? Special dinner plans? Packing for vacation (don’t forget the sunscreen and other outdoor essentials!)? Having an event? Our Prepared Foods Team Members are experts in order-taking and preparation, and our menus reflect our quality standards and our commitment to you. We use as many local ingredients as possible: bread, cheese, vegetables, meat, seafood… In fact every department in our store carries products from local growers and makers.

As summer grows closer and the grills are fired up, Whole Foods Market, Darien is ready to go! Fish and Meat, already cut and marinated, side dishes from Prepared Foods. A full service Bakery offering scratch breads made right here in our kitchens! Fun summer beers and great cheeses from our Specialty Team. We are very proud of what we do and hope you’ll try all our departments! We think you’ll agree once you get to know us!

Whole Foods Market first opened it’s doors 30 years ago in Austin, Texas. We had a very clear mission then and those same Core Values are still guiding us today. We take great care in selecting the products we offer our customers, staying true to our high standards and values. Customer Service is our top priority, always!! We get involved in the community; we are committed to being Green and spreading the effort. Our Team Members are treated fairly, offered opportunities for advancement and great health care.
