Quick & Easy Recipes
Here in Edgewater, we like to take our Sale items* and create fun recipes that we post on Twitter. But we figured, with all the posts popping up by the second, you might miss a few. So here is a complete list of the recipes we’ve offered:
organic heirloom tomatoes: chop, toss with evoo, blsmc vinegar, diced shallot, torn basil; spoon over ricotta smeared crostini.
fresh wild hake fillet: season w/s&p; sear 10 min., turn once. serve in warm tortillas, w/sour cream, pckld onions, guac & lime.
organic cherry tomatoes: combine in glass dish w/olive oil & s&p; roast @400˚F 30-40 min., or until split and juicy, shaking once.
coconut milk non-dairy frozen desserts: place scoop between 2 cookies; press slightly. roll in sprinkles. wrap in plastic; freeze.
field tomatoes: thickly slice, salt, sit on paper towels 1 hr. place between 2 bread rounds smeared w/mayo & sprinkled w/chives.
italian bread: slice on the diagonal & brush with oil; crisp on grill. top with ricotta, thyme leaves & honey drizzle.
whole branzino: stuff cleaned fish w/s&p, lemon slices & herbs. grill on oiled grates over direct heat 14 min., turning once.
coho salmon fillets: grill approx. 6-8 min. flipping once; top with avocado, on-the-vine tomato, onion and lime salsa.
satur farms salads: lightly pan-fry pounded chicken breasts; top with salad of arugula, sliced shallots, lemon juice & olive oil.
satur farms salads: simmer chopped shallot, olive oil, balsamic, golden raisins – pour over spinach. cover; let sit 5 min.
