Nutrient Dense Cooking
6-8pm $22
In this class, guests will discover the nutrient
value of different foods through various meal
preparation techniques. Recipes will emphasize
a plant-based eating pattern with leafy greens,
ancient grains, legumes, and a delicious dessert.
Our Healthy Eating Specialist, Lara, teaches this
class in both a hands-on and demonstrative
manner that is sure to please and engage cooks
of all skill levels. -

Cookbook Club: The Indian Slow Cooker

Join Salud! instructor Malini Bartels as she shows
you just how easy The Indian Slow Cooker by Anupy
Singla can be. Tonight’s menu includes a wellrounded
meal of Rajmah (Curried Kidney Beans), a
decadent Rice Pudding and more - all made in the
slow cooker!

Come and enjoy a light lunch while Healthy Eating
Specialist, Lara, leads you through an exploration of
similarities and differences between common diet
crazes. Discussions will reveal why these efforts are
largely unsuccessful in the long-term, but leave
participants with action-oriented information on an
eating pattern that can ensure a lifetime of health.

Wednesday, February 29th
Magical mystery Kebabs
6-8pm $30
Kebabs and Sliders are a great food for any occasion.
They are most often a meat dish, but can be a
delicious vegetarian option as well! You can make
them with beans, veggies, greens, sprouts or
whatever you have on hand. In this class, Sapna Von
Reich takes you into the endless possibilities of
Kebabs and mini burgers.

How do I register for a class?
- Call Whole Foods Fort Collins at (970) 267-9200 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
- Stop by the Guest Service Desk in the store to register in person
Registration is required for each class and needs to be arranged in advance.

What are your check-in and payment policies?
The doors to our community classroom, located just North of the main entrance to our store, open 15 minutes prior to the start of each class. Please come directly to Salud upon arrival, unless you are earlier than 15 minutes prior; then you can choose to wait by the Salud door or in our store until the room is ready for guests!
Students are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that it can be more difficult to see and/or hear towards the back of the class. Those with disabilities or special needs can contact sadie.westhoff@wholefoods.com for special requests.
Doors will close 15 minutes into the start of the class and it is the instructor's discretion to allow latecomers to class. Refunds/transfers will not be issued for guests who are not admitted to class because they came more than 15 minutes late.
We will ask for your name as you find your seat to check you in. Payment is required at the time of registration so no payment is taken the day of the class.
- What is your refund policy?

A full refund can be issued if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class. We will also accept a name transfer if you would like to fill your slot in that particular class with a friend or family member. No other refunds or transfers will be issued.

Do you ever cancel classes?

Although we make every effort to avoid changes to our class schedule, Whole Foods reserves the right to cancel any class due to low registration, substitute instructors and/or weather conditions. If this happens refunds or transfers will be provided to those affected by that particular class change.
We also may alter recipes due to product availability and seasonality.

Can I bring my child to a class?
Yes!! BUT ONLY if it is a class labeled specifically for kids. We ask that children 5 and older attend kid's classes. Otherwise, please leave them at home or with a sitter to ensure each student has a great experience and our chef can concentrate his or her efforts on providing great meals and service.
