Community Giving
Whole Foods Market believes passionately in supporting the communities we serve. We strive to support local non-profit organizations and causes. We understand the notion of interdependence and are committed to helping deserving organizations. We pledge to donate at least five percent of the day’s net sales to non-profit or educational institutions.
To be considered for a donation, your organization should fall into one of the following categories that are aligned with Whole Foods Market’s core values:
- Environmental Preservation
- Preventative Health Care
- Hunger Relief
- Organic Farming/Sustainable Food Resources
- Healthy Eating
- Education on any of the above
Due to the volume of applications we receive, we regret that we cannot contribute to every worthy cause. We are unable to respond to every request and will call the organizations we are able to make a donation to.
We do not donate to individuals, individuals seeking pledges, multiple requests from the same organization or organizations and/or causes outside of Connecticut. Past support of an organization or an event is not a guarantee of future support.
To apply for a donation, please fill out a Donation Application with a copy of your organization’s 501c(3) IRS letter (without an IRS letter, we regret that we unable to consider your application).
