Whole Foods Market, La Jolla is located in the La Jolla Village Shopping Center, on the corner of Villa La Jolla Drive & Nobel Drive.

From Interstate 5 South:

Exit Nobel Drive, make a left, then make your first right into La Jolla Village Shopping Center.

From Interstate 5 North:

Exit La Jolla Village Drive, make a right, then make your first left onto Villa La Jolla Drive. Go to the top of the hill, and after one stop light, make a left into La Jolla Village Shopping Center.

Whole Foods Market, La Jolla opened it’s doors in November of 1996.  For fourteen years and counting, we have been a proud member of the La Jolla and UCSD Community.

Our Grocery department offers all of your favorites.  From cereals, soups, chips and juices to yogurt, tofu, and frozen entrees, free of hydrogenated fats, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. We also offer pet food, paper goods and environmentally safe cleaning products.

Our Specialty department offers microbrew beers, wines, and hand-crafted artisan cheeses from both around the corner, and around the world. Nitrate-free cured meats, olives, pates, chocolate and more gourmet palate pleasures round out our selection.

Our Bakery department offers a selection of Certified Organic European-style hearth breads that are baked fresh daily, right in the store. We feature decadent pastries made with love and skill from the finest ingredients, plus a wide variety of tempting artisan chocolates and handmade truffles.  Come to our coffee bar for a freshly brewed cup of Allegro coffee, recently selected as one of the best roasters in the country!  Ask about our Gluten-Free and Wheat-Free Whole Foods Market Bakehouse items, for our customers with special dietary needs.

Our Whole Body department offers everything from gentle cruelty-free body care products, made with no harmful preservatives or synthetic dyes to nutritional supplements, homeopathic remedies, and herbs.

All of our Meat & Poultry products are natural and raised humanely without the use of added growth hormones, antibiotics or animal by-products in their feed.  We also have the largest selection of organic meats and poultry available.

Our Seafood comes from deep, clean waters or aquaculture farms where environmental concerns are a priority.  Much of our wild caught fish comes from dayboats so it’s the freshest available.  We support sustainable fishing practices and all of our seafood is free from sulfates and preservatives.

Our Produce department offers the largest and freshest variety of organic fruits and vegetables and work closely with farmers to develop sustainable methods for eliminating harmful pesticides, herbicides and fungicides from our environment and food chain.  We offer produce from small, family-run farms where we have built relationships with the growers.

Our Prepared Foods department offers innovative dishes that are both convenient and delicious, all made using ingredients that meet our high quality standards.  Our food is prepared fresh daily at our in-store kitchen featuring freshly made sandwiches, rotisserie chickens, salads, burritos, pizza, sushi, and much more!

Discount Policy

Grocery Case Discount Policy

1.   The standard grocery case discount is 10% off purchases of full cases of grocery items.

2.   The discount is intended for items outside of our loose shelf stock, and cases must be in their original case packaging/box to receive the discount.  Exceptions may be granted by store management.

3.   The case discount also is available on full bags/boxes/pallets of bulk items 15 lbs and larger, such as produce, rice, and grain.

4.   Please be advised that this policy may be amended in the future, and Whole Foods Market reserves its right to grant exceptions to the foregoing policies in order to further its commitment to extraordinary customer service.

5.   Please consult with a Whole Foods Market team member/employee if you have any questions concerning this policy.

Wine Discount Policy

1.   A 10% discount is available on the purchase of 6 or more bottles of wine.

2.   This discount applies to any size bottle of wine.

3.   Spirits are not included in the wine discount.

4.   Periodically, Whole Foods Market may offer certain wines at such low prices that the 10% discount will not be available on those wine.  The exclusion of such wines from this discount will be indicated by signage where applicable.
