Community Giving
At Whole Foods Market, we are active members of the community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.
GENERAL DONATION REQUESTS
Each Whole Foods Market store has a monthly budget designated for a donation of food to local 501-C (3) not-for-profit organizations. Organizations are asked to review the donation application guidelines, fill out the donation application, and submit your request to the store Marketing Team Leader via e-mail, fax, or in person at customer service. Donation requests must be received at least 45 days prior to the date of the event for consideration. If you have missed the deadline, please consider us for future donations.

NICKELS FOR NON-PROFITS
Each quarter, we select 2 local non-profit organizations to be our program recipients. Customers who bring their reusable shopping bags have the option of donating their five cent bag credit to one of the two organizations.
Nickels for Nonprofits Application
5% DONATION DAYS
Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.
SCRIP
Local schools are eligible to purchase Whole Foods Market gift cards at a 4% discount, sell them for full price, and keep the difference as a way to fundraise.
Scrip orders must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Scrip can be ordered in denominations of $10, $25, $50, or $100
- A minimum order of $1000 is required
- All gift cards will have the same value
