DONATION APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK.
DONATION GUIDELINES
Whole Foods Market is committed to our customers, team members and our community. Along with devotion to promoting healthy lifestyles full of nutrition and physical activity, we are also dedicated to making a positive impact to our community.
APPLYING FOR A DONATION
There are four requirements for this application:
- Complete the Whole Foods Market Marlton Donation Request Application. It is available at the Customer Service Desk. Attach a copy of your organization’s federally-issued letter certifying your non-profit 501(c)3 status.
- Submit the application 4 weeks prior to the date the donation is needed.
- Return one copy of the application and 501(c)3 letter to the Customer Service Desk. At this time, no electronic submissions can be reviewed.
- Due to the large number of requests, we cannot respond to every Donation Request. Any Donation Request that does is not complete, or that is not submitted 4 weeks prior to the event, will not be considered.
Which organizations are eligible to receive donations?
- Organizations that have a federally-issued 501(c)3 identification letter.
- Organizations that serve the local community near Whole Foods Market Marlton
Whole Foods Market cannot make donations to political or religious organizations, unless the donation will be used for non-secular, community service-related events or program. Whole Foods Market does not donate food to individuals or teams seeking pledges, multiple requests from the same organization or causes outside our local area.
What is an acceptable donation request?
We very rarely donate money or checks. We prefer to donate food and groceries or gift cards to organizations and charities that serve low-income populations, local community groups or families that have suffered an emergency situation. Supplying food for a local event, sponsored by a charity or community-based organization, is another type of donation request that we consider.
What is the deadline for request applications?
Applications need to be completed and submitted 4 weeks prior to the event date. Last minute or incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Currently, we are accepting Donation Requests that would fall after September 1st 2012.
How will I know if my Donation Request Application has been approved?
You will be contacted by the Marketing Team Leader Jon Glyn. Due to the number of applications received on a daily basis, we can only respond to the application requests that have been approved.
