Community Giving

At Whole Foods Market, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.

Whole Foods Market’s Store Level Giving Program is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations in our stores’ local communities that have limited budgets and big hearts. Our giving program supports organizations that address community issues, such as: hunger relief, environmental concerns, organic and sustainable agriculture, animal rights and welfare and social services. Our focus is to support innovative groups that strive to make the world a better place. To us, a better place is one where the environment is preserved and replenished, communities are strong, health is a priority, organic farming is cherished, and where all living beings are respected.

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local 501(c)(3) non-profit association. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

To apply for a 5% Day, please complete our 5% Day Organization Request Form (pdf) and return to Customer Service. 

Donations and Sponsorships

Donation/Sponsorship request forms will be available at the customer service desk and must be filled out entirely and returned to the store at least 30 days prior to the event.
