Community Giving

At Whole Foods Market Middletown, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.

Donations

We support a number of local organizations within our community and vicinity. To request a donation, you may download our Donation Request Form or pick one up at the Customer Service Booth. You must submit this completed form along with a formal letter of request outlining specifics of your event and a copy of your organization’s 501(c)3 form (the letter from the IRS that confirms your tax-exempt status). Donations are most often made in the form of products or gift certificates. All donation requests must be received 45 days in advance of the date needed and must be complete, which includes submission of the 501(c)(3), to be considered.

Requests should be submitted to Brooke Herman, Marketing Team Leader, via e-mail (brooke.herman@wholefoods.com) or fax (512-370-5836).

Download the Donation Application.

Here are some of our recent donation recipients:

  • Family Resource Network/Surfer’s Healing
  • Stomp the Monster
  • Clean Ocean Action
  • Community YMCA
  • George Sheehan Race
  • Where Peace Lives
  • Autism Speaks
  • Friends of the Monmouth County Park System

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year, a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

Our last 5% Day was held in January for Lunch Break in Red Bank, a non-profit organization dedicated solely to finding and promoting solutions to global warming.
