Whole Foods Market Culinary Center is also available for team building, product launches, book signings and other community events.

How to Register for Classes:

  • Stop by our Customer Service Booth and register in person.

Register is required for all events including those that are free.  The Culinary Center reserves the right to allow participants into a class without registration.  To guarantee your place in a class, payment must be received when you enroll.  You can pay in two ways-  at our Customer Service Booth near the produce entry way OR through our online payment service Acteva.  Please click on the link below the class to enroll online.  If you enroll with out payment you will be placed on a payment pending wait list until payment is received then you will move into a position in the class roster. Also, we encourage you to please sign up a minimum of 48 hours prior to the day of the class.  Classes do fill up and sell out!

Seating and enrollment are on a first-come, first-served basis. If a class is sold out, please call (707) 224-6300 or email michelle.dickey@wholefoods.com to be placed on our waiting list.  With some exceptions, registration closes 48 hours prior to class.

    Contemporary Mediterranean with Chef Kelly Fong

    6-8:30pm $35 per person

    Hands on cooking class; must be 21 to attend.

    Join Chef Kelly Fong for a fun evening of hands on cooking in our Culinary Center.  On the menu: Brodo Frutti di Mare- Seafood Soup, Pesto Stuffed Pork Chops with Caramelized Sweet and Sour Balsamic Onions, Braised Arugula with Guanciale (pork), Spaghetti Caccia é Pepe, and Hazelnut Tiramisu.

    “Everyday Meal Short-cuts: Batch Prepping 101” and Book Signing “Kitchen Wizard Flexipes: Simple Time-Saving Secrets for Tasty Global Cuisine” with Kitchen Wizard, Mari Suzuki

    Demonstration class; Open to all ages.

    Do you want to learn simple strategies and smart short-cuts to help you stick with your healthy eating habits, even when you don’t ever seem to have enough time?  Whole Foods Chef Instructor, Mari Suzuki will share with you some of her favorite kitchen strategies from her new cookbook “Kitchen Wizard Flexipes” that saves you hours of prep and increases your daily vegetable intake easily.  A book signing with the author as well as tasty food sampling will follow the class.

    Do you want to learn simple strategies and smart short-cuts to help you create more variety of tasty, healthy dishes, even when you don’t ever seem to have enough time?  Whole Foods Chef Instructor, Mari Suzuki will share with you some of her favorite, versatile Flexipe (flex-ible rec-ipe) Bases from her new cookbook “Kitchen Wizard Flexipes”.  You will learn how to decide what’s for dinner, find what you need, and whip up many variety of dishes in minutes.   A book signing with the author as well as tasty food sampling will follow the class.

    “Eat Healthy Workshop” with The Healthy Junkie, Laura Page (R.H.N.) Transform Yourself This Spring

    6:30 to 8:30pm $150 for all 5 workshop classes

    Knowledge and Experiential Workshop; must be 16 to attend.

    The “Eat Healthy Workshop” is much more than a nutrition class. It’s a supportive, interactive, and fun environment that helps to establish individual health and wellness goals. It’s a workshop geared toward self-discovery and learning to incorporate small, or significant, changes that will continue to be assimilated into our busy lives. It not only demystifies nutrition, it offers participants bite-size pieces of information that are easy to digest. The “Eat Healthy Workshop” helps participants link their personal goals to their values and sets the stage for true transformation to occur.   

    • Discover top foods that can aid in losing fat, keeping it off, and why.

Class Information:

 All participants in Hands-On classes must be at least 18 years of age, unless indicated otherwise.  Most demonstration classes are open to participants of all ages.  Attendees of classes in which wine is served must be at least 21 years of age.  Classes range from 1 to 3 hours in length, unless otherwise indicated.  Please wear flat, close-toed shoes, and comfortable clothing to hands-on classes.  Class usually, but not always, consists of a brief lecture and hands-on cooking, followed by eating at the end of class.  Students are typically divided into groups at the instructor's discretion.

Cancellation Policy:  We are happy to refund your purchase 48 hours in advance of any class.  Unfortunately, refunds and/or transfers of credit cannot be given for no-shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the class - store policy dictates that no exceptions can be made.  Although we make every effort to avoid changes in our schedule, the Culinary Center reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment, substitute instructors, and alter recipes due to product availability and seasonality.
