5% Days

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days!

Committed to the Community

Whole Foods Market sponsors many local events, such as the Pikes Peak Urban Gardend, Feed the Children and Local Schools. We also donate food items to a variety of local non-profit organizations committed to our community and the environment. Our overstock items are given to our local food bank, American Charities. We regularly take a Community Crew of employees into the community to volunteer for events such as earth day tree planting, local schools and American Charities.

Donation Requests

If you are a charitable organization, and wish to request food, catering, bags or our participation in your event, please download the donation request form. Thanks for offering us the opportunity to work with you!

Please submit requests 6 weeks prior to the date needed or earlier if possible.

Small Change Adds Up

We encourage our customers to reuse bags and we donate 10 cents for each bag to the Doherty High School Tree Huggers Club. This student run club is expanding their recycling program out into the community, allowing their neighbors to drop off their recycling at the school. Additionally, they are funding volunteer projects at Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Canyon.
