Reserve your space in all classes by registering and pre-paying at the Customer Service desk in the store or over the phone at (402) 393-1200. Registration for both free and fee-based classes is required. Please notify us of food allergies or special diet needs when pre-registering. All cooking classes are subject to sales tax.

Smoothies, Alternative Milks and Other Drinks: Sample dairy-free milks,including soy, rice, almond and coconut, and we’ll make our own fruity “soda pop” and share ideas for incorporating more nutrition into smoothies using leafy greens and fresh, frozen and dried fruit.

Our school of fish will teach kids ages 9 to 12 about the variety of seafood available and how to prepare it! We’ll tour our seafood department to learn more about how to select fresh seafood and then make fish in parchment paper packets and easy rice pilaf. (teacher: Phyllis)

Community Support Day for Heartland Family Service
As part of our commitment to the area community, Whole Foods Market will donate 5 percent of the day’s net sales to Heartland Family Service, which serves more than 38,000 clients ranging from newborn to senior citizen each year and provides education, counseling and support services in the areas of addictions, child abuse, domestic violence, early childhood development, juvenile delinquency, mental health, neighborhood enrichment, and poverty and homelessness in seven communities in eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

This class will go swimmingly because kids ages 3 to 5 are sure to love the tuna fish sandwiches we’re making! Younger siblings who will remain in a carrier or stroller are welcome to attend.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel attending a class contact customer service at (402) 393-1200. A class credit or store credit will be given if you cancel within 48 hours prior to the day of the class. Cancellations left on email or faxed to the store will not be honored. Whole Foods Market has the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or instructor illness. Whole Foods will contact you by phone regarding the cancellation and you will receive a refund.
