Reserve your space in all classes by registering and pre-paying at the Customer Service desk in the store or over the phone at (402) 393-1200. Registration for both free and fee-based classes is required. Please notify us of food allergies or special diet needs when pre-registering. All cooking classes are subject to sales tax.

Thirsty for wine knowledge? Join us at this informal and informative wine tasting in our wine department! Learn more about this month’s featured topic – wines for Valentine’s Day – as you talk with the experts, get information to take home, and compare and contrast samples.

Half Pints Kid's Class: Heartfelt and Homemade
10:00-10:45 a.m. $5 per child for Whole Kids Club Members / $8 for non-members (caregivers free)
Half Pints ages 3 to 5 are invited to scoop, pour, roll, stir or spread foods to make their own edible creations. Class is limited to 10 children and their caregivers. Younger siblings who will remain in a carrier or stroller are welcome to attend. We’ll have fun making homemade treats and a crafty card to give to your Valentine. (teacher: Mandy)

Future Chefs Kid's Class: Heartfelt and Homemade
12:00-1:00 p.m. $10 per person for Whole Kids Club members / $13 for non-members
Kids ages 6 to 8 will learn how to make an assortment of creative treats for Valentine’s Day and assemble them in special packages to take with them, ready to give as a gift. Your Valentine will appreciate our homemade and heartfelt creations! (teacher: Mandy)

Kids can surprise a special someone with a delicious treat for Valentine’s Day. We’ll provide a large frosted chocolate or vanilla cupcake, edible decorations like candy, chocolate, fruit and sprinkles, and packaging to take it home – you bring the love and creativity!

The Whole Planet Foundation Annual Prosperity Campaign kicks off today (and goes through March 31). This organization works to end poverty by empowering the poor in developing countries through microcredit. Help us make a difference by making a donation – in any amount! – at the register. Make a donation today and get a free reusable small tote (one per customer, while supplies last).

Whole Planet Foundation Passport Fair

The Whole Planet Foundation works to end poverty by empowering the poor in developing countries through microcredit. At this special sampling event, we’ll sample borrower-inspired recipes and products from some of the developing countries where we source product. Stop at our welcome table for a passport and then enjoy samples as you travel around the store. Help us make a difference by making a donation at the register. If you make a donation of at least $5 today, you’ll get a free reusable bag plus a mystery product!

Health Starts Here 28-Day Challenge Kick-Off
12:00 p.m. Free but please pre-register
You set a healthy eating goal, we’ll help you stick to it with delicious recipes, resources and a community of support. At our kick-off, we’ll introduce you to our Health Starts Here program and demonstrate how to easily choose and prepare the most nutrient-rich and health-supportive foods. Enjoy samples and get a goodie bag with a menu plan, shopping list, pantry staples, coupons and recipes. Attendance at the kick-off meet-up is mandatory. For each 28-Day Challenge event you attend, you’ll receive a free giveaway prize. Weekly meet-ups will be held in our classroom on Mondays at 12 or 6 p.m.

Meeting Space
Are you looking for a place to hold your next meeting? Our Lifestyle Center accommodates about 20 people and features a TV that can be hooked up to your own laptop for Power Point presentations. This room is also great for small receptions, business meetings, team builds and other gatherings. Availability permitting and during store business hours, 501c3 non-profit organizations can hold meetings in our Lifestyle Center for free. Community groups can also rent the classroom for a nominal fee. When we provide space for groups to use – whether in our café or in our classroom – we kindly ask that all food and beverages must come from our store. Please call (402) 393-1200 and ask for Marketing for information, to check availability and to make reservations.
