Community Giving
At Whole Foods Market, we are active participants in our community and are proud of our involvement and the relationships that make a difference with our community education, One Dime at a Time initiative, in-kind donation program, event partnerships and Community Support Days.

If you are interested in applying for a donation please feel free to stop by our customer service desk or click on the donation appliction link below. We donate food and gift baskets to 501c3 non-profit organizations, local schools and community agencies that meet the above criteria.
One Dime at a Time Program
Whole Foods Market gives 10 cents per bag to customers who re-use their own shopping bags for their purchased groceries. This program reduces our impact on the environment and supports local non-profit agencies. Customers will have the choice to accept their cash refund, or donate the cash back to the store’s chosen non-profit organization.

One Dime at at Time Recipient
One Dime at a Time program you can donate your 10 cent bag refund when you check out. Now through March, your dimes will be donated to the Whole Planet Foundation.
Community Support Day
Our Community Support Days (AKA 5% days) are a very meaningful way we give back to our community. On four designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day’s sales are donated to a local non-profit organization. If your non-profit organization is interested in becoming one of our quarterly Community Support Day recipients, please click on the application link below.

Please note:
Silent auction donations must be received a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks prior to the event. Product donations must be submitted 12 weeks in advance for consideration. Unfortunately no last minute requests will be honored.
