Vitamix Roadshow!

Join us in the produce department and learn why the Vitamix is so much more than a blender!  Smoothies, soups, healthy ice creams, nut butters and more — preparing wholesome and delicious food is as easy as one, two, three!  Whole foods — fruits, veggies, beans and whole grains are one of the cornerstones to a healthy lifestyle.  With over 300 kitchen-tested recipes, Vitamix can help you master the art of healthy eating.  Stop by and meet Matt, he’ll be whipping up all sorts of delicious things for you to sample.

Travel Snacks: Eating Healthy While You’re Out and About!

Need inspiration to stay healthy while traveling?  Join our Healthy Eating Specialist, Tanja for some tasty, easy to make treats that will give you a little boost when you’re hungry while on hiking or road trips.   You will learn how to make granola, pressed bars, and protein treats for plant-powered snacking. Light supper provided.

5% Day for Maine Audubon

Shop today and we will donate 5% of the day’s net sales to Maine Audubon.   The mission of Maine Audubon is to protect Maine’s wildlife and wildlife habitat by engaging people of all ages in education, conservation, and action.

Storytime with Jody Fein

Join us for this popular weekly event where Storyteller Jody Fein leads us in rhymes, story and song!  Enjoy a healthy snack and make new friends!  Seating begins at 9:30am in our Café.

Storytime will end for the season on Tuesday, May 29th.  We will begin again on Tuesday, September 11th.

Conversational ESL Classes

Stop by for conversation and laughter in our community room!  Meet with specially trained ESL volunteers to practice speaking English in a safe and relaxed setting.
