Community Giving
At Whole Foods Market Providence, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.
Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to a designated 501(c)(3) non-profit association. These organizations are promoted within the store and given the chance to share their cause with the public. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days. This is a wonderful way to gain exposure and a little cash for these hard working folks. 5% Day Applications are available at the Customer Service Desk or call the store for further information.
Donations and Sponsorships
We are also committed to serving in our communities. We are excited to
announce that we have been named Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation
of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. We are
truly honored to be recognized for this award. Whole Foods Market
contributes to a number of community events, health fairs, student
groups, fundraisers and organizations throughout the year. We donate to
organizations whose goals most closely reflect Whole Foods Market's
mission and philosophy. Donation applications
are available at the customer service desk and must be filled out
entirely and returned to the store at least 6 weeks prior to the event.
Register Coupons
Purchasing one of these
coupons at checkout directly benefits a worthy organization. Throughout
the year, various organizations will be represented. Please consider
reaching out through a donation at our registers.
Feed Kids Now

Cafes. Kids Cafes currently serve an estimated 1,250 children at 15
