Community Giving
At Whole Foods Market Waterman Street, we are active participants in our community. We are proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to a designated 501(c)(3) non-profit association. These organizations are promoted within the store and given the chance to share their cause with the public. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days. This is a wonderful way to gain exposure and a little cash for these hard working folks.
Donations and Sponsorships
We are committed to serving in our communities and are excited that we have been named Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. We are truly honored to be recognized for this award. Whole Foods Market contributes to a number of community events, health fairs, student groups, fundraisers and organizations throughout the year. We donate to organizations whose goals most closely reflect Whole Foods Market’s mission and philosophy.
To request a donation from the WatermanStreet Store please complete the Donation Request Form. You will need a copy of your charities 501c3 tax exempt form to apply for any donations from Whole Foods Market. Due to the volume of requests we receive we will only respond to requests that will be granted.
Register Coupons
Purchasing one of these coupons at checkout directly benefits a worthy organization. Throughout the year, various organizations will be represented. Please consider reaching out through a donation at our registers.
Feed Kids Bags
Throughout the year, Whole Foods Market Providence offers shoppers the opportunity to purchase pre-packaged bags of food to be donated to the Whole Kids Food Bank, which benefits students in need at Esek Hopkins Middle School.
