Because Whole Foods Market believes in being an active community member, requests from other civic and charitable groups will be considered if the organization is in the immediate vicinity of a store location, meets our core values, and funding is available.
We do not donate foods to individuals, individuals seeking pledges, multiple requests from the same organization or organizations and/or causes. Each approved organization is restricted to one donation per year from any and all Whole Foods Market. Past support of an organization or an event is not a guarantee of future support.
At Whole Foods Market, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.
Our 5% Community Support Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. Four times a year a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

Secure The Call
Recycle those old cell phones – don’t put them out with the trash! Whole Foods Market Redmond is pleased to be participating with “Secure the Call” and organization that takes old cell phones, refurbishes them by wiping out any information stored on them and then reprograms them to make 911 emergency calls. All phones are redistributed to community partners (women’s shelters, senior centers, school systems, and police and fire departments). You’ll find the collection bin located opposite the guest services desk by the doors.
