Fun, Out of the Box Birthday Parties

Whole Foods Market Richardson offers parties for children ages four and up! You can choose any of the themes below or work with one of our event facilitators come up with your own special event.
Birthday Parties at Whole Foods Market are not just any party! They all include an opportunity for hands-on creativity and fun food education. They will play and learn at the same time.

Details: Parties last approximately 75 minutes. All parties are scheduled for a room reservation time of 90 minutes. Due to space limitations, this is a drop off party, except for the host family. Safety regulations require us to comply with maximum numbers for the party. Inquire about reserving space in our café to accommodate guest parents. We can also provide a fun activity for the adults, like a wine and cheese tasting while the birthday party rolls on!

Each party includes the following:
Instructor and assistant to facilitate party
Choice of beverage and dessert
Complimentary invitations if desired
One apron for party host (additional aprons are available at $12.00 each)
Compostable paper products
Goodie bag for all participants (includes coloring book, crayons, stickers)
Cakes are available for purchase from our bakery

Classic Pizza Party
Ages 4+ capacity 20 children
$200.00 for 10 children;$12.50 for each additional child
The classic pizza party lets party-goers get hands on with making their own pizza plus learn a little about what makes it happen! Plus we’ll throw in veggie appetizers & fruit kabobs, and all attendees will get to customize their cupcake served with ice cream.

Teddy Bear Picnic
Ages 3+ capacity 15 children
$225.00 for 10 children;$12.50 for each additional child
Bring your teddy bear and gather with friends to enjoy a picnic spread with fun-shaped sandwiches, ladybugs on a branch, and personalized cupcakes.

Fiesta!
Ages 8+ capacity 15 children
$225.00 for 10 children;$12.50 for each additional child
For this gathering, we head south to the border to bring you a fiesta unlike any other! Guests have the opportunity to make their own chicken or cheese quesadilla, plus we’ll mix it up with a custom order of Mexican rice. Top it off with a sweet treat – crispy cinnamon tortilla to go with ice cream sundaes.

Tea Time
Ages 8+ capacity 15 children
$225.00 for 10 children;$12.50 for each additional child
Little ladies can get together for their very own tea party! The Whole Foods Market chefs will help get things rolling and the guest chefs can help prepare finger sandwiches, a crudite plate, plus a mini dessert platter.

Chocolate Lover’s Party
Ages 9+
$225.00 for 10 children;$12.50 for each additional child
What kid doesn’t love chocolate? In this chocorrific party, kids will “make and take” chocolate truffles and chocolate-dipped delights to share with friends and family and “make and eat” molten chocolate lava cakes and chocolate milkshakes to share with no one! It’s messy, chocolatey, finger-licking fun!

Make Your Own Spa Party
Ages 12+
$275 for 10 children; $13.50 for each additional child
Little girls love to pamper themselves! In this party, our Whole Body Specialist will teach them to take care of the skin inside and out and will guide them to make their own body scrub, face mask and toner. Light finger sandwiches, healthy hummus dip with veggies and strawberry hibiscus tea will be served. Dessert is a choice of a cupcake or a healthy dessert of yogurt, honey and fruit.

Booking Information:

To book your birthday party, please email  carla.chavez at wholefoods.com with the date and number of participants. If you’d like the complementary invitations, let us know and we will email you a proof. We will print these in-house and can be picked up at a scheduled time.

Due to safety regulations and to maintain our quality standards, we do not allow outside food in the store. You may add additional appetizers and desserts from our catering menu. If you’d like to order a birthday cake, our bakery specialists are ready to help.

Birthday Parties must be paid by the time the event starts. You may pay by cash, check or credit card. We will provide you with an invoice and receipt.
