    Today, 5% of the day's sales will be donated to Jet City Improv produced by Wing-It Productions. 

    For nineteen years, Jet City Improv has been bringing their unique form of audience participation comedy to Seattle every Friday ans Saturday night at 10:30pm, and most Saturdays at 8:00pm at Wing-It Productions.

    Jet City's show is fast-paced, funny and suitable for all ages.

    Dinner with Chef Paul

    5:30 $30

    Learn how to prepare dinner for two, making it easy to please your spouse or friends with a delicious meal prepared by you in just a few hours. Tonights menu is perfect for a cold winter night or even a birthday, party. You will be able to make a complete dinner from start to finish, and be very proud of your self for making Soup, Salad, Entrée, and vegetables, like one of the fine restaurants downtown.

    At the end of the class you will receive recipes for the dishes you helped prepare. It's a fun evening of learning and eating all of these delicious recipes.

    Chef Paul is a highly dedicated and experienced chef and was the proud owner of Paul’s Cuisine & catering here in Seattle. Chef Paul invites you to be inventive and create your masterpiece for your guest and friends. Chef Paul calls the chef out of you and will show you the secrets of cooking, baking, basic kitchen equipment, and table etiquette.

    Learn to cook 3 versatile, quick, and hearty meals using only 1 pan:

    • · Chili Con Carne topped with Tequila Spiked Guacamole
    • Pan Roasted Trout with Fiery Pesto
    • · Beer soaked Pulled-Pork Sandwich topped with Spicy ‘Slaw

    Plus, this class will show you how to make female friendly side dishes to woo the ladies-or even your wife! Learn to make Sautéed Kale with Lemon and Garlic, Roasted Yams, and Wheat Berry Pilaf. Also, your ladies are welcome to join us too.

    Amanda Darby founded Confident Cooking as a way to inspire good health in men and women through easy to prepare, eye catching and nutritious food. When you become jovial and engaged with your food, Amanda has yet another success story. From planning to execution, learn how cooking and eating is rousing, straightforward and an energizing boost to your body.

    Amanda, The Confident Cook, earned her MS in Nutrition from Bastyr University and is a Certified Nutritionist. She has over 10 years of culinary experience that includes working at Seattle’s favorite Italian restaurant Serafina, to spending a summer on Martha’s Vineyard.

    This class will be bringing traditional home-style Chinese food into the homes of any person who wants to learn. I will be making dishes you thought you could only order off a Chinese food menu and show you how easy and how healthy this cuisine can be.

    Lily Lei was born and raised in Taiwan. Her father, was in air force intelligence and during his top secret travels, developed a passion for food from the many places he visited. After the entire family immigrated to Canada in the 1970s, the family started their first restaurant. It was a family effort and Lily took a hands on roll learning and growing the business. In the following years, Lily opened several successful restaurants throughout the US. Now, her passion for sharing food takes on a new roll with Lily teaching and passing along the knowledge and the years of experience she has gathered.

    Sara Beth is a long time vegan and natural foods enthusiast. She was recently named National Donut Champion on the Food Network Challenge and has over 6 years experience working in vegetarian kitchens. Her fun and accessible style of cooking instruction will help you feel confident and adventurous in your culinary pursuits.

    Class is $25 dollars and limited to 18 people.

Cooking School Registration Guide

Guests can register for classes during our regular business hours from 7am to 10pm daily in person at our guest services desk or by calling a guest services team member at (206) 985-1500. Over the phone reservations can be made with an accepted credit card. Payment for classes is required at the time of registration. We require 24 hour advance notice of cancellation for full refund.  Cooking class gift certificates are available.
