New Belgium Urban Assault Bike Ride

In Forest Park

Register for this funky bike scavenger hunt involving street-smart riding, crazy obstacle courses, and a huge after party at www.urbanassaultride.com.  The Urban Assault Ride™ is the biggest Bicycle Obstacle Event series in the nation! Here’s how it works: You and your teammate will set out on a city-wide quest for ‘checkpoints’ on your favorite two-wheeled steeds.  At each checkpoint, you’ll drop your bikes and complete a funky/adventurous obstacle course, then remount your bikes and hit the streets for more. After your pedal-powered adventure, your team will cross the finish line and enter a massive celebration of New Belgium Brewing whimsical ways, bikes, and big wheels. The after party is just as much fun as the ride itself, thanks to the craziest raffle prize contest you’ll ever experience.  Pick a partner and we’ll see you there!!

Espresso is possibly the most misunderstood, improperly prepared, and hated beverage in the United States, yet it is in almost every drink on a Coffeehouse’s menu.  This class will remove the myth behind this 1oz. cup of joy, and open palettes to a world of taste hidden within a coffee bean.  Kaldi’s top baristas will prepare espresso and cappuccino on their mobile kit and guide the student through making a quality shot.

EarthDance offers an Organic Farming Apprenticeship program, a summer camp for middle schoolers, and farm tours for the public! 2nd Annual Grass-fed Beef Burger Cook-off

Come one; come all to our 2nd Annual Burger Cook-off!  Local area chefs will compete to see who has the best grass-fed beef burger. The chef who wins will be awarded $500 to a local charity of their choice.  How do they win?  Well, you decide!  Come by and sample all the entries, then cast your vote for the best burger. Your vote will automatically enter you to win a brand new outdoor grill! A second winner will be chosen by Catherine Neville of Feast Magazine and the Whisnant’s, our Grass-Fed Beef producers. At 7:45 pm the voting will end and at 8:00 pm we will announce the winner. But that’s not all! We will have live music from Swing DeVille and beer tastings. Join us for burgers, beers and a whole lot of fun.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel attendance at a class, please contact Jamey at our customer service desk at 314-968-7744 or by leaving her a message at ext. 219.  A class credit will be given if you cancel at least 48 hours prior to the class start time. No class credits will be provided for cancellations less than 48 hours. Cancellations left on E-mail or faxed to the store will not be honored. Online registrations will have a small service fee subtracted from their refund.  Whole Foods Market has the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or instructor illness. You will be contacted by phone regarding the cancellation, and offered a refund or a class credit.

Sold Out Classes

Only patrons that have prepaid for classes will be eligible to attend if the class is sold out. To be added to the waiting list for a sold out class, email us at Nichole.Carpenter@wholefoods.com and specify the class, date and number of people wanting to attend. We will contact you if availability opens up.
