About The Tarzana Store

This 30,000 square foot flagship store, located on the corner of Yolanda and bustling Ventura Boulevard (a large parking lot can be accessed on Yolanda) offers fresh and organic items for every taste and budget.  With our in-house smokehouse, shawarma spit, daily fresh-baked flatbread, Turkish coffee, and a wide variety of kosher and Persian items, the Tarzana store truly embodies the diverse and eclectic neighborhood it is housed in.

The store also features an impressive assortment of gourmet delicacies, making it an easy destination for any foodie.  We have a 40 person wine and tapas bar, which offers wines by the glass and beers on tap, and hosts frequent tastings.  Our olive and pickle bar is the largest in Los Angeles, and we have a variety of cheeses and cured meats.

Whole Foods Market Tarzana is also committed to providing value for our customers.  We carry a large assortment of our own brand of 365 products, which offer value prices 365 days a year. Our products are formulated just for us, meet all of our quality standards, and are what your pantry and your wallet have been waiting for.  Our 200 bulk bins and our bulk laundry dispensers provide similar high quality products at a fraction of the cost.

We are dedicated to assisting and supporting the environment and the community we are a part of.  As a component of our “Let’s Retake Our Plates” initiative, students at our local Portola Middle School painted miniature plates to represent how we can better understand and control the foods we eat.  Our neighbor, Wilbur Elementary School, was the recipient of our “Recycle you Change” and “5% Day” donation projects.  We are also actively involved in supporting the Tarzana Neighborhood Council.
