Thursday Night Tasting Recipes
THE BIG GAME is this Sunday and what a way to celebrate then with a delicious BBQ Pulled Pork. We demoed this last night to some rave reviews.
BBQ Pulled Pork
Ingredients
- 4 pounds – boneless pork shoulder roast
- 2 Tbs – minced Garlic
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup – Dijon Mustard
- 2 tsps – dry oregano
- 3 Tbs – Ground Cumin
- 1 small tin – Denny Mike’s Cow Bell Hell BBQ Rub
- 2 cups low sodium Chicken Stock
- 2 – 8 oz jars – Denny Mike’s Hot and Nasty BBQ Sauce
- 1 – 8oz jar – Denny Mike’s Caroline Style BBQ Sauce
Directions
Mix Garlic, honey, mustard, oregano, cumin and the one tin of BBQ rub mix together and mix into a paste . Rub pork should. Place roast in crock pot or slow cooker and cover roast with stock. Cover with aluminum foil and slow cook for 6 – 8 hours at 350 degrees.
Remove pork, discard layer of fat as well as any water and grease remaining in pot. When pork is cool enough to handle, use a fork or your hands to shred and pull the meat apart. Return the meat to the pot and add both flavor barbeque sauces. Heat for 1 to 2 hours. Serve on your favorite roll.
