5% DAY

Thank you Tulsa for helping raise $4,676 for  Keep Oklahoma Beautiful  on Wednesday, April 18th.

Our team members are part of the local community and they are passionate about supporting the local causes that are important to our shoppers and neighbors. First off, it’s a given that each store donates food to area food banks and shelters. We have food; they know how to get it to people who need it. Done. Then several times a year, our stores hold community giving days (otherwise known as “5% Days”) where five percent of that day’s net sales are donated to a local nonprofit or educational organization. The groups that benefit from these 5% Days are as varied as the communities themselves. We also have Bag Refund Recipients every 4 weeks.  For every reusable bag that is brought in our guests may choose to donate or get a bag credit. When they choose to donate, .10 for every reusable bag goes to one of our local non-profits. Last but not least, team members are constantly volunteering their time and expertise to an assortment of local non-profits.

 How you can ask for a Donation

If you have a nonprofit or educational organization you would like us to support or want to request a donation from us, please download the donation request form. If you have an event that you want us to donate for, please inquire about 10 weeks before the event.
