Community Support

Community giving at Whole Foods Market is rooted in our belief that corporations, as well as individuals, must be good tenants of the planet. We are intimately connected to the health and economy of each community we serve, and feel it is our responsibility to give back to those communities in meaningful ways. We are committed to donating at least five percent of our annual net profits to charitable causes. For us, giving back expands our passion for quality foods into the larger arena of quality of life.

Stone Barns Teacher Development Program.

If you’ve had a teacher who has made a difference in your life, return the favor by nominating him or her to attend a one day course at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture. If selected for the professional development program, your teacher will learn how to incorporate food and agriculture into the classroom. To nominate: pick up an application at our customer service desk or download here.   Submit the application to our Marketing Team Leader by April 15.
