Donations

Whole Foods Market Wheaton is passionate about many causes and we strive to give back to the community we are a part of.  Below is a complete list of initiatives that we support locally at this store:

  • Environmental Preservation

  • Organic Farming/Sustainable Food Resources
  • Arts and Education

If you are interested in a donation, please download our donation request form here: Wheaton Whole Foods Donation Packet 2011.   This packet MUST be completed in full in order for your request to be considered. If your donation request is approved, we will contact you via e-mail or phone.  Due to sheer volume of requests we cannot guarantee conacting denied requests. 

We donate food, gift baskets, or gift cards to 501C(3) non-profit organizations, local schools, clubs and local colleges for various sponsorships. We love to show support and be actively involved in many of the events and fundraisers. You must supply us with the 501C(3) issued by a governemnt agency to be considered and you must submit application 6-8 week in advance.  Donation commitments are made several months in advance and must be submitted in person.

Please note:

The form must be received 6 to 8 weeks prior to the event to be considered.  Last minute requests may not get a response.

One Dime at a Time
Did you know that every time you bring in your own reusable bags, Whole Foods Market will refund you 10¢ per bag used? Even better, you can choose to donate that dime to an area charity.

5%  Days:

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

Support for Food Banks

The Wheaton store also collects non-perishable food for The People’s Resource Center.
