Holy guacamole! Whole Foods Market is turning 30! Help us celebrate our birthday with fun and games. In honor of our very first store in Austin, we are having a Texas style birthday hoedown with costumes, raffles, live music, product samples and even a Wild West Food Showdown. We need you to tell us which department won the day! Little buckaroos (that’s kids for you non-cowfolk) in a cowboy or cowgirl costume on either day will receive a free cookie from our Bakery. Kids can also help us celebrate at a special birthday Kids Club. We will be crafting and decorating cowboy hats in the café. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our Team Members and we want you to get to know them like we do. Paintings, photos and poetry produced by our Team will be on display in the café all weekend long along with artist bios. We love our customers too and the first 100 to come through our doors on the 18th will receive a free gift bag full of goodies! It’s going to be a very happy birthday, indeed! The Plantation store is the largest natural foods store in the area. We offer the freshest selection of organic fruits and vegetables, a full line of grocery/dairy/frozen items, as well as a full service meat and seafood department. In addition, our vitamins and body care departments have the most comprehensive selection available.
At Whole Foods Market, we care about our community and the environment and that is why we strongly support our local product program, Florida Flavors. We have a variety of fruits and vegetables, grocery and bakery items from all over the state and are always seeking out new products to source locally.
We also carry an extensive collection of fine wines, over 400 varieties of gourmet cheeses, gourmet chocolates by the pound, and an in-house coffee roaster providing fresh coffee every half hour.
The Bakery department offers an array of sinful baked goods along with all natural no sugar added, wheat free, vegan cakes, cookies and breads! Our Nutrition department offers the highest quality nutritional supplements, sports nutrition, and body care items.
We feature a Prepared Foods department with hand tossed pizza, hot bar, salad bar, soup bar, and fresh rotisserie chickens. Not to mention a healthy juice bar, along with an exclusive sushi bar.
Join us as the award-winning Chef and Founder of Hugo Naturals shares his philosophy of “food grade quality” all natural body care products. He will be sampling his luxurious products and highlighting his newest additions to his collection, bath bombs and bath salts. No registration required.
On Tuesday, August 31st, 5% of net sales from this store were collected to be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. We will be presenting the donation to the organization in a small ceremony in the café. Everyone is invited to learn more about Team in Training and we would love for you to join us in showing support for their mission to find a cure for Leukemia.

It performs over 50 different culinary jobs and can easily replace at least 10 kitchen appliances.
