We asked Molly Siegler opens in a new tab, our culinary content editor, to share some of her favorite new recipes coming out of our test kitchen. Here’s one that’s great for kids and grownups alike, because who doesn’t love a good tot? And this one has a twist!
Cauliflower and Broccoli Tots opens in a new tab
Any five-ingredient recipe is the coolest in my book and I love how these tots are mostly veggies—held together with a little whole wheat bread and egg. Super bonus points for an easy way to make these vegan. Grind flaxseeds together with water and you’ll get a great binder with egg-like consistency. I would make a giant batch of these tots on the weekend and freeze them for easy snacks and sides whenever the mood strikes. (I like to use my freezer as a second pantry area and you should, too!).
