Not only does Café Lalibela serve traditional Ethiopian meals, many of their prepared foods are vegetarian and gluten free.

Nick Ambeliotis, Founder
After Nick Ambeliotis worked in bakeries across Europe and the U.S., he decided to open Mediterra Bakehouse in 2002. Located in Coolidge, Arizona, Mediterra follows a traditional artisanal formula to bread making. Once the dough is made using techniques such as slow fermentation, each loaf is baked to perfection in their stone-hearth ovens.
