Based in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, Big Green Tomato makes deliciously crunchy, gluten-free granola. After co-owner Michelle discovered intolerances to egg, dairy and gluten in 2009, she was determined to remake the recipes she missed most in a version she could eat, and granola ended up being a fast favorite.

In 2011, Gringa’s garden was overflowing with peppers when she decided to whip up some homemade habanero hot sauce. The rest is history. Made from start to finish in Omaha, Nebraska, Crazy Gringa Hot Sauce makes flavorful, spicy hot sauces derived from a true love for peppers.

Pacha Soap Co. makes bath bombs and scrubs, handcrafted with essential oils. Andrew Vrbas started the company in his college apartment around the same time he met his wife, Abi. Together, they continue to make Pacha Soap, and a portion of every purchase goes to help clean-water initiatives and small-scale soap shops in developing countries.

Matt Boshart is a self-proclaimed “dude” who loves people, conversations and coffee. So in early 2015, he opened Reboot Roasting. Located in Omaha, Nebraska, Reboot Roasting produces single-origin, small-batch, specialty-grade coffee — ideal for a bold, roasty sip.
Wax Buffalo

Alicia Reisinger, Founder
Wax Buffalo owner and founder, Alicia Reisinger, first tried candle making at 14 for her grandmother’s Christmas gift. After her grandma passed, she began to make them more regularly for friends who encouraged her to start selling them. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, Wax Buffalo creates small-batch, hand-poured candles from soy wax and unbleached cotton wicks.
