Olga Sorzano, CEO
Olga Sorzano grew up in Siberia, where her great-grandmother “Baba” always had a jar of homemade kombucha in the pantry. Baba’s Brew came to life in 2015 when Sorzano craved a taste of home and began brewing her family’s Old World recipe for others to enjoy. The kombucha is handcrafted in small batches using seasonal produce and fully powered by wind energy.

Raised in Philadelphia during the Great Depression, Aunt Caroline made BBQ sauce long before it was a brand. One night while eating some of the delicious sauce with barbecued chicken, her nephew had the idea to bottle it. Aunt Caroline agreed. Now, their gluten-free sauce blends are shared with the West Conshohocken community and beyond.

Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Hess Brother’s Fruit Company cultivates exquisite apples year-round. They’re also active participants in trade organizations such as the U.S. Apple Association and the U.S. Apple Export Council, just another part of their long-standing dedication to growing delicious apples.
Lancaster Farm Fresh

Lancaster Farm Fresh is a nonprofit farmers cooperative consisting of over 100 family farmers that focus on well-maintained soils and small-scale farming. They also offer a subscription program known as Community Supported Agriculture, which supports the farmers by paying their share of the harvest, and farmers repay their shareholders in fresh, seasonal produce.
One Village Coffee

Since 2007, One Village Coffee has produced exquisite coffees in Souderton, Pennsylvania. All of their coffee varieties are roasted with focus on the perfect balance and sweetness of the bean. Finally, they’re all packed into bags before being shared with the Souderton community and beyond.

Jess Edelstein & Sarah Ribner, Cofounders
Jess Edelstein came up with an innovative alternative to the usual deodorant and shared it with her best friend, Sarah Ribner. Their deodorant formula is made without parabens and aluminum and is scented with essential oils. Piperwai was born when the two friends realized how effective it was and decided to share it with Philadelphia — and beyond.

Toigo Farms cultivates hydroponic tomatoes in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. They focus on reducing environmental impact and promote this with their use of hydroponic farming, which uses less water on average than traditional methods of farming.
Yellow Springs Farm
Goat Cheese

Located on eight acres of land in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, Yellow Springs Farm consists of a historic farmhouse, a dairy barn and a springhouse with a neighboring pond. It’s here that they produce both fresh and aged artisanal goat cheese from carefully selected Nubian goats. Each cheese is handmade with care in small batches.
