And while they hail from the most prolific mussel-growing region on the West Coast, the Jefferds family has garnered top honors with the flavor and texture of their shellfish. Located in Mt. Vernon, Washington, Ralph’s Greenhouse is run by the Vries family and is committed to growing high-quality produce in the Skagit Valley. They produce a variety of vegetables like carrots, bunched greens and fennel — and since 1999, they’ve been a key supplier of veggies in the Pacific Northwest.

Founded in 2003 with the goal of promoting no-till, direct-seed farming, Shepherd’s Grain produces their all-purpose flour in Spokane, Washington, from high-quality wheat grown on family farms. Their flour is traceable to the farm where the wheat was grown and is used by some of the finest bakeries in the Pacific Northwest.
