Easy Lemon Swordfish Steaks
Serves 4
Time 10 min
Firm, meaty swordfish is one of the easiest and most delicious fish to grill. The steaks are rich and tasty enough to serve just with lemon wedges, or you can top them with any number of pre-made sauces: try marinara, barbecue, or chimichurri sauce; tapenade or tzatziki; or your favorite spicy salsa.
Special Diets:
Ingredients
- 4 (6.0-ounce) swordfish steaks
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 lemon, halved, seeds removed, divided
Method
Prepare grill for medium-high-heat cooking.
Brush swordfish with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Squeeze half of lemon over steaks and grill, turning once, until swordfish is browned and almost opaque in center, 7 to 8 minutes (do not overcook).
Cut remaining lemon half into 4 wedges and serve alongside steaks.
