Method
Preheat the oven to 325F.
In a large bowl, toss together nuts, sesame seeds, onion flakes, cheese, poppy seeds, garlic powder, sugar and salt.
In a second large bowl, whisk egg white until very frothy.
Add nut mixture and toss to thoroughly combine.
Transfer to a large, rimmed baking sheet and bake, scraping mixture up and tossing every 10 minutes or so, until toasted and fragrant, about 30 minutes. (Watch closely toward the end to ensure that the onion flakes don’t burn.)
Set aside to let cool completely before serving.
Store the mix in an air-tight container for up to one week.
