Sweeten up a favorite breakfast granola with the additions of dried fruits and chocolate chips. For the healthiest choice, select unsulphured, unsweetened dried fruit. A perfect way to add crunch and something sweet to any lunch box, along with a few "hidden" nutrients. Snack on it like trail mix, or spoon over yogurt, if desired.

Ingredients

    2 cupsfavorite low-fat granola
    1/2 cupdried banana chips
    1/2 cupnondairy chocolate or carob chips
    1/2 cuproasted peanuts or toasted pecans, optional
    1/2 cupchopped dried papaya
