Matcha Tonic

Ingredients

    5fresh basil or mint leaves, plus more for garnish
    5 slicesEnglish cucumber, divided
    1 teaspoonmatcha powder
    Ice cubes, for serving
    3/4 cupchilled tonic water

Method

In the bottom of a tall glass, muddle basil leaves, 2 of the cucumber slices and matcha powder until mixture is juicy and cucumber is broken into very small pieces. 


Fill the glass with ice and remaining 3 cucumber slices. 


Pour in tonic water and stir vigorously. 


Garnish with a few basil leaves and serve.
