An eye-catching ice and fruit ring keeps this mix of dry white wine and tart Italian soda cold for ages. Fancy enough for brunch, but easy enough to pull off anytime, make this party pleaser non-alcoholic for kids by doubling the soda and omitting the wine. Watch our how-to video.
Special Diets:
Method
Arrange melon and grapes in a bundt pan or ring mold (choosing one that will fit in your punch bowl), and then fill mold with just enough water to cover fruit, pressing down gently to make sure all pieces are submerged.
Freeze until solid, about 6 hours, or overnight.
Set ice ring aside at room temperature for 5 minutes.
Pour wine into a large punch bowl, and then unmold and invert ice ring, gently floating it in the wine.
Pour soda around the ice ring, stir gently and serve.
