Sweet and Savory Seafood Dry Rub

A dry rub like this one, sweetened with brown sugar and flavored with paprika and basil, is ideal for salmon, red snapper or tuna fillets.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon fine sea salt
Method
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Store in an airtight glass jar in a cool place. Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of dry rub per pound of fish.
Rub mixture liberally over and into fish before pan frying, grilling or baking.
