Method
Preheat a waffle iron.
In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, flaxseed meal and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together almondmilk, applesauce and honey.
Add applesauce mixture to flour mixture and stir just until evenly blended.
Use 1/3 cup batter for each waffle.
Let cooked waffles cool completely, then store in resealable, freezer-safe plastic bags in the freezer.
To serve, toast waffles in a toaster until golden brown and crisp.
