Apple and Cheddar Beef Burgers

Pile these juicy burgers on your favorite buns and top with lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Serve with more Dijon mustard on the side, if you like.

Ingredients
- 3/4 pound 90% lean ground beef
- 1/4 medium red onion, finely chopped
- 2 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded peeled Granny Smith apple
- Canola spray oil
Method
Prepare a grill for medium heat cooking.
Combine beef, onion, cheese, mustard, salt, pepper and apple in a large bowl and form into four 4-inch patties.
Grill over medium heat, flipping once, until done to your liking, about 4 minutes per side for medium.
