Barbecued Chicken
Serves 8
Time 4 hr 30 min
Use this simple method to grill juicy pork chops, too. Serve with Garden Potato Salad or Coleslaw with Buttermilk-Apple Cider Vinaigrette at your next barbecue.
Special Diets:
Ingredients
- 8 pieces chicken (any combination of legs, thighs or split breasts)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Method
Place chicken and sauce in a large resealable plastic bag. Turn the bag several times so the chicken is well coated. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight, turning the bag occasionally to distribute the sauce.
Prepare a grill for medium-low heat cooking, lightly oiling the grill grates as needed.
Remove chicken and arrange on the grill. Cook, turning frequently, until the meat near the bone is no longer pink, 30 to 45 minutes. Transfer to a platter and serve.
