Classic Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 (12.0-ounce) package fresh or frozen cranberries
Method
Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil and add cranberries. Return to a boil.
Reduce heat and boil gently 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cover and cool completely at room temperature.
Refrigerate until serving time.
