Cranberry Sauce with Walnuts

Stored well, this cranberry sauce will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator. So make it ahead and keep it on hand to add sweet-tart flavor to roasted meats and sandwiches when you're in a hurry.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cranberries
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup honey or rice syrup
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
Method
Combine cranberries, apple juice, and honey in a saucepan over medium heat, and simmer until berries pop, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in orange zest and walnuts.
Cool to room temperature and then refrigerate in a covered container.
