Honeyed Blackberry Syrup

Simmer juicy blackberries with honey to create a luxurious syrup that's a fun addition to cocktails and perfect drizzled over pancakes, waffles or vanilla ice cream.

- 2 (6.0-ounce) containers blackberries (about 2 cups)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ground cinnamon, pinch of
Method
In a medium saucepan, bring blackberries, honey, lemon juice and cinnamon to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat and simmer about 20 minutes or until blackberries have softened and released their juices, stirring frequently and mashing berries with a spatula.
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on solids.
Discard solids.
Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
