Hydrating Cherry Smoothie

Stay cool in the summer with a refreshing blend of cherries, coconut water, cucumber and creamy avocado. For a sweeter smoothie, add 1 or 2 chopped pitted dates along with the other ingredients. And if rambutans or lychees are in season, swap those for the cherries for a tropical twist — just be sure to peel and pit them first.

Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted cherries
- 1/2 small cucumber, peeled and seeded
- 1/4 small avocado
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
Method
Combine cherries, coconut water, cucumber, avocado and zest in a blender with 4 to 6 ice cubes and blend until smooth.
Pour into a tall glass.
