Special Diets:
Ingredients
- 2 cups nonfat (0%) plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup nonfat (0%) milk
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds, plus more for serving
Method
Combine yogurt, milk, honey and matcha powder in a blender and blend until well mixed and frothy, about 1 minute.
Transfer to a freezer-safe, sealable container and stir in sesame seeds. Close the top snugly and place in the freezer.
Every 30 minutes or so, whisk well, scraping down the sides and re-covering the container, until mixture becomes too thick to whisk, about 3 hours.
Spoon into bowls as soft-serve and sprinkle with sesame seeds, or cover again and freeze until solid enough to scoop, about 2 hours more.
Remove frozen yogurt from the freezer 10 to 15 minutes before serving to allow it to soften for scooping.
Sprinkle each serving with sesame seeds.
