Silken tofu provides the creamy protein in this tropical delight. Use your favorite variety of nondairy milk and protein powder. When making fruit smoothies, adding ice to the blender is a matter of personal choice. If you are using frozen fruit in place of fresh fruit you may omit the ice.

Ingredients

    1 cupcubed frozen or fresh pineapple
    1 cupcubed frozen or fresh mango
    1fresh or frozen banana, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks
    6 ouncessilken soft tofu, drained
    1/2pineapple or pineapple-coconut juice
    1 cupvanilla soymilk, ricemilk or almondmilk
    1 tablespoonflaxseed meal
    1 tablespoonvegan protein powder, optional
    1/2 cupice cubes, optional

Method

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and whirl at top speed for about a minute or until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
