Penne with Lemon, Olives and Basil

This bright and simple pasta makes a complete meal alongside a green salad or a grilled chicken breast.

Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, (about 6 large leaves)
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Method
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, olives, salt and pepper in a large serving bowl.
When pasta is cooked, drain and transfer to the serving bowl.
Add basil and toss to coat.
