Quick and Spicy Tamari Snack Mix
Makes 3 1/2 cups

Served warm, this irresistible treat is extremely flavorful and aromatic, but room temperature is amazing, too. If you don't "do" spicy, omit the cayenne.

Ingredients
- 1 cup shelled pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
In a large skillet oveer medium heat, toast pumpkin seeds, peanuts, cashews, pecans and almonds, stirring often, until nuts begin to turn golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Immediately drizzle tamari over mixture, and sprinkle with cayenne and lemon juice.
Remove from heat, stirring to combine. Cool slightly and serve.
Leftover mixture can be stored at room temperature for up to one week.
