Several Sins Chocolate Cake with Red Wine and Berries

As if luscious raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries aren't sinful enough, this fantastically delicious recipe takes summer fruit to the next level. You can also make a lighter version, which is great for daytime entertaining. Simply substitute white cake, peaches and white raspberries, and a sweet white or peach wine.

Ingredients
- 1 (18.25-ounce) boxed chocolate cake mix, baked according to package directions, cooled
- 3 cups raspberry red wine, sweet cabernet, sweet merlot or shiraz
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Method
Cut cake into 1-inch cubes and allow to sit out overnight to get slightly stale.
Arrange cake cubes in a large festive serving bowl.
Cover with wine and allow the cake to soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
Add raspberries, blackberries and strawberries and toss gently to combine.
Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and chocolate chips and serve.
