Strawberry and Blueberry Watermelon Mint Salad

The addition of crisp, cool watermelon is perfect with this simple strawberry and blueberry fruit salad. Recipe adapted from our friends at Driscoll's.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
- 3 cups cubed watermelon
- 1 cup large mint leaves, thinly sliced
- 1 (16.0-ounce) package Driscoll's Strawberries, hulled and cut in half
- 1 (6.0-ounce) package Driscoll's Blueberries
Method
Combine sugar, water and lime zest in a small saucepan.
Heat over medium-high until it comes to a boil.
Remove from heat and allow to cool as you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
In a large serving bowl, combine cut strawberries and watermelon along with the blueberries, mint and sugar mixture.
Toss salad gently until evenly mixed and serve.
